I started blogging about politics back in 2005 after my second baby was born. I blogged full time until about 2012 when I felt burned out and took a break for a few years. By the time I wanted to get back into it, Twitter’s microblogging platform had essentially killed them.
Today Twitter and Facebook have grown so large globally, they seem to think they’re all-powerful enough that they can engage in a campaign to silence conservative voices. When Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter all deleted President Trump in January 2021, that was enough for me and I deleted my own Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. Now I primarily post at my Gab account but have been experimenting with Minds.com.
With Twitter and Facebook censoring and deleting conservatives and Trump supporters, I decided to revive my blog. Who knows, perhaps Twitter and Facebook’s silencing of conservative voices will Make Blogging Great Again.
